Hi there,

We’re excited to share what we’ve been building this summer. The latest Nexadata release delivers major improvements in connectivity, security, workflow management, and auditability, all designed to help your team work faster, govern smarter, and transform data more intuitively.

🔌 New Connectors: Built-In Bidirectional Sync

You can now natively import and export data to and from:

  • Anaplan - now with support for executing Processes to trigger model-to-model sync-ups once harmonized data is pushed.
    See Anaplan Docs →
  • Pigment - supports bidirectional sync using Views, Blocks (Metrics, Dimension Lists, Transaction Lists), or the Payload Builder.
    See Pigment Docs →
  • HubSpot - connect sales and marketing data with operational workflows, planning, and reporting.
    See HubSpot Docs →

These connectors support round-trip data sync and dynamically reflect your app’s structure - no more chasing down codes or object IDs. 👍

🔒 Enterprise-Grade Security

We’ve implemented a complete access control framework to support secure operations at scale.

✅ Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Nexadata now supports a matrixed security model where users are assigned both a Role and a Group. Roles (e.g., Super Admin, Security Admin, Connection Admin, Billing Admin, Workflow Access) define global platform privileges, while Groups act as the unit of permissioning across Workspaces and Environments.

🧱 Workspaces & Environments

Workspaces are now a foundational part of Nexadata and a core component of our upcoming launch of Workflows. With Workspaces, you can now:

  • Include independent DEV and PROD environments
  • Control access through group-based permissions can be set with five access levels: Viewer, Executor, Editor, Creator, and Admin.
  • Use names, descriptions, and color tags for clarity and segmentation

🔐 SSO & IP Allow Lists

  • SAML-based SSO for secure, org-wide authentication.
  • IP Allowlist to restrict access to trusted locations only.

🛠 Other Enhancements

  • Formula support for column names with spaces automatically wrapped in to make formula writing easier.
  • UX improvements for large Mapping Groups, including smoother scrolling and a persistent Save button.
  • Improved error handling for malformed or corrupted uploads and character encoding issues.

🔭 What’s Next

Looking ahead, we’re working on making Nexadata even more powerful:

  • Workflows - Bundle multiple datasets and pipelines into a single output with integrated scheduling, notifications, and change tracking.
  • Salesforce Connector (Bidirectional) - Full sync support for Salesforce data.

Try the new features today, and let us know what you’d like to see next using the in-app feedback tool. We’d love to hear from you!

Thanks for being part of the Nexadata journey.
