☀️ Mid-Summer 2026 Platform Update: Agentic Pipelines and Agent-Native MCP Tools

This release makes your pipelines truly agentic. Any AI agent can now build a Nexadata pipeline from scratch, and your pipelines catch and repair their own errors. Here's what's new.

🤖 Agentic Pipelines: Built and Repaired by AI

Build with any AI agent. The Nexadata MCP server can now construct pipelines, not just run them. Any MCP-capable AI agent, not just the in-app Copilot, can build a pipeline step by step using the full transformation toolset:

• Filter, sort, group and summarize, merge, split, rename, keep or remove columns
• Run math, flip signs, parse dates, change text case, generate unique IDs, insert row numbers, and more

Agents can also list every transformation in a pipeline and preview the data at any point, all scoped to each user's access. Warnings such as record kickouts now surface through the MCP server too. View documentation →

Keep pipelines healthy. A second AI agent now reviews every Copilot-generated plan, catching flawed plans (especially joins) before the pipeline is built. When a step does error, you or your agent can preview the pipeline, edit the specific transformation, and auto-retry it with the previous step's data, even for steps that previously couldn't be opened at all.

🧱 Platform Fixes

• ENG-966 – Bug Fix: The yellow warning status now appears on the initial workflow execution page when a run produces warnings (such as kickouts), matching the execution history.
• ENG-968 – Bug Fix: Row number transformations added via natural language in the middle of a pipeline now build and run correctly.
• ENG-971 – Bug Fix: CSV uploads to Anaplan no longer fail with an "invalid block count" error; chunking now stays within bounds, gzips cleanly, and never splits a record.
